Meet some “hot” new friends at Glen Abbey Wedding Show

right

For the first time, Glen Abbey hosted a wedding show. Kostelphoto had a booth in attendance, and we enjoyed meeting many newly engaged couples.
We love the look of excited couples peruse our work and imagine their own wedding day. They also appreciated the quality of our albums and commented on our art, and design. Great feedback for KP. Plus, they seem to enjoy us too, which is a bonus :) Getting along with your photographer is key to great imagery. We no longer do big Wedding shows where we built large walls, set ups and try to impress in other ways than Us and photography that we do. So we decided to scale down and present Kostelphoto as a very simple elegant solution full of amazing experiences! And guess what, it works… Our brides book us for us, the experience and amazing products. So thank you so much, we are really humbled with the amazing response!
Glen Abbey also hosted a fashion show with gorgeous dresses, as well as Models. Mark snapped away during the show. It was a great set up, since soon-to-be-brides were seated at tables and the models came around to everyone. Brides were part of the action. How different.
We also met some new friends at Glen Abbey. There were a lot of people whose work we were so impressed with, and it made us want to get married all over again.
Here are a few we had a chance to chat with:
- Susie is a great cupcake artist who owns a bakery in Milton, called Flourgirls. Clever name indeed.
- Wedding Day Coordinator Gayla, who was so lovely by nature, I am sure brides would enjoy working with her.
- LDesigns Studio Invitations – They sparkled and had bling with wonderful themes and designs. Gorgeous work.
- The Dreamboats, will be the next new hot guy band, with a blast from the past that will even leave parents and the older crowd pleased, at your wedding. Amazing Beatles and Elvis renditions.
- Sabrina from House of Floral Designs had an amazing array of designs inspired from Italy. These hot bouquets are so trendy, that your wedding flower arrangements will be the talk of the town. So unique and lovely. Enjoy.

Creme De La Creme | Toronto Wedding Photography

right

The anticipation, the shop, the thoughts.
Thank you Silvana.
We had the privilidge to participate in a highly anticipated photography workshop Creme De La Creme given by the amazing Silvana from Impulse Photography.
No matter how seasoned a pro you might be or if you are breaking into the industry, it is so prudent to find yourself, and define your philosophy, business and style. One can never stop learning. We love learning, being inspired, honing our skills not only photography but life skills. To stay on the cutting edge, we participate in big conferences, seminars and workshops such as WPPI or Mystic, but this year we opted to stay local. What an awesome choice and a breath of fresh air :)

The workshop was held at Estates of Sunnybrook what a spectacular location. We shot a beautiful wedding of Jennifer and Davide there as well. One of the most elegant and intimate locations in GTA.

Finao album review

right

Hi everyone,
Today marks a historic day, no not because we are blogging, but rather a first attempt to utilize new ways to showcase our products and services. I am referring to Fusion or HD DSLR video. Completely not versed in any aspect of cinematography I though we will give it a fair shot. So much to learn, so much to buy and so much different that straight up photography. A lot of new DSLR cameras come with some form of video. This might be a trend but rather than ignore it why not embrace it. So as a test we shot an album that just happened to arrive for a client and produced below short video. Please don’t laugh too hard, its hard enough to be in “front” of a camera, but than all the editing and my umm, umms. Constructive criticism only please:)
