Going through all the external hard drives, amalgamating, deleting, sorting and organizing is a task for winter. Getting ready for the Wedding season can be a daunting task. Don’t you find that getting ready for any task or job usually takes so much longer that the task itself? Strange but true. No wonder the saying goes, preparation is half the battle. I think its more like 75 or 80%. Really, the same applies to shooting. As most photogs can attest to it, we shoot 20% and do everything else 80%. After all its a business and working for yourself means that you wear all the hats. Not complaining just saying
We love what we do, and although there are the odd tasks that we all dread…. we would never have it other way. But I digress, I’ve been cleaning up and organizing our images… I think we have over 100 000 images and soo many haven’t seen the day of light. So occasionally we will post a fun shot, fine art, personal or just something weird
So here is one from the summer. As we had a snow storm yesterday its nice to reminisce of the balmy weather and good times we can have in summer. Cheers and keep warm. Mark

We were thrilled to photograph little newborn Wesley and his parents Lora and Rod. As new parents they were so cute, carrying and excited to have their little one documented. Please enjoy a sneak peak and lots of health and love to Wesley.

We had a fun winter engagement session with Casey and Ryan not long ago. Although it was a little chilly, they both were fun and into anything we suggested. After a few minutes of a little direction and getting used to the cameras, the inhibitions were left behind and fun ensued
We met downtown Milton by the Mill Pond which was frozen over to start off. The locations were so easy to pick between historic buildings, tracks, park and even a truck wash station for a little vintage fun. You guys were totally awesome and we are glad to hear that even Ryan felt like it was a breeze…being all nervous before hand
Enjoy few of our faves and congratulations again! Anna+Mark

We are so excited for the Olympics to take place in February. Two years ago I got a silver button to support Vancouver 2010 and wore it ever since. Can’t believe its finally here. I had a chance to catch the Torch Relay here in Port Credit and Clarkson. What a cool experience. The number of people that showed up in support of the relay was overwhelming. The energy just oozed out of people and everyone was in the greatest mood, despite the chill. Here is few frames from the participants, flame and peoples jubilations.

Not long ago, we had a great pleasure photographing Heather and Sebastian. The fall was in full bloom and we decided to head down to a local park in west end of Toronto for some yum photos. We had lots of laughs and Heather was working it for us like a pro. We are thrilled to document your awesome special day next year down in the Niagara region. Hope you have some luck with house hunting
You both are super fun and we are blessed to have you as clients
Cheers! Anna+Mark

What an incredible, incredible wedding this was! Karen and Matt, you have waited patiently, we hope you will enjoy these images. Just so you know, this is probably the longest post with number of images we have ever done. So many great frames, so hard to cull
Karen and Matt tied the knot at St Cyril and Methodius Church in Mississauga with an entourage of priests. Very moving ceremony indeed. As Matts father is a Deakon, it was extra special for the couple to actually get married by Deakon Popik. After the ceremony and congratulations, we headed down to Oakvile’s private Appleby College on Lakeshore Rd. What a beautiful place of intellect, heritage and outdoors. The park and locations to shoot are so diversified and we had lots of fun shooting all over the place. The reception was held in a hidden gem at elegant Romas Place in Mississauga. Not only did the Karen and Matt had a DJ, they hired a full eight piece Slovak Folklore band. The entertainment was also unparalleled, with many surprises and traditions. How much fun did we have?!
You guys really pulled this off with out a hitch. Thanks for having us. We wish you all the best in your new life togeter. Blessings
Anna+Mark
