Hello, friends, clients and future brides
Its incredible how fast summer came and went this year. We are so fortunate to have had so much fun personally as well as with our amazing clients this year. We still have few more weddings until early December, but are promising to pick up the slack on our blog posts and enlighten you with our passion, your love. To start of our hiatus, we’d like to share with you a little promo piece done by the uber talented Johan from NewLeaf Wedding Cinema who came along on an engagement shoot or also known as “getting to know you” shoot to show all our future clients how much fun you will have and how easy it is to strut your stuff and show us your love in front of the cameras. Hello..., the longest engagement post ever;) For real, we just couldn't make it any shorter. So many rockin' frames of Mich+Glen. You guys kicked it up a notch. How much fun did we have?! The story of a proposal is usually a very personal, emotional moment that a couple usually enjoy’s telling us, but Carmen+Jason actually showed us.
For their engagement shoot, we revisited where it all happened in Collingwood. They still love visiting this lovely city and enjoying getaways to Blue Mountain Village, the views of Georgian Bay, the hot chocolates and of course revisiting the important place where Jason proposed. We started shooting at the exact spot where it all happened, and I can tell you that it was beautiful to watch the moment unravel itself once again and transport them back to that important moment in time. Love is beautiful.
Carmen and Jason, you are both so wonderful. Enjoy the images taken at your special place, and thanks for showing and telling us your story. Cheers.

Although it looked threatening and quite gloomy earlier today, we couldn’t ask for a better day. Christine and Jesse were total sports and were up for all our “ahhh and this spot, ahh and this backdrop” We love ya!

KostelPhoto in action during an Engagement Photo Session

Mark and I were just reminiscing of past fun e-shoots and we came across this VIDEO which portrayed what a couple can expect during a Kostelphoto e-shoot. I personally really love how it captures one of our favourite couples in love and displays KP in action as well as our great fine art images. Mark can be seen in action several times which shows how involved we get with our couples. We are not afraid to run, jump and get in to the action (definitely we get into what we do). The video gives our future couples, a sense of the time we invest in planning the locations and making sure our couples have a variety of images and diverse backdrops all while having fun. Jen and Davide were great sports, since we took them to Forks of the Credit river, where we shot at a water fall, train tracks, small village, Badlands and even in the ruins of a country barn. Because we got to know them so well, we even incorporated their talents (can you tell Jen is a nurse and Davide loves repairing cars?). Thanks to BluPearl Media Films for coming along and capturing it all on video. When booking e-shoot sessions with Kostelphoto, couples will really get a personalized session that has them getting familiar with what to expect. So on the big Wedding date, you will be so comfy with us around. We provide an experience during our e-shoots. We just don’t want a few great shoots, we want a bunch! Plus, we feel it is a great investment for you to get comfortable in front of our camera’s and see what a piece of cake it can it can be for you. When you are relaxed with us, it really reflects in your images. Plus, we are all about making fine art images so spending time with our couples really makes sense. Hope this post helps couples out there, who might be looking to commission artists. We really have our heart in what we do, and we believe it shows.
