March 7th turned out to be a beautiful sunny day and attracted the masses. Diana and Ryan had been hoping for a winter shoot with snow and ice, since Diana ice skates, but they ended up enjoyed a lovely spring-like day instead (what unpredictable weather we are having in Toronto). The warm breeze was blowing in the harbour, and the sun was shinning….and Mark and I could feel the love and attraction between these two lovebirds. It’s always a pleasure to shoot those in love (and a couple as friendly & nice as Diana + Ryan). It’s wonderful when two great people find each other in this busy world, and we are so happy that Diana + Ryan will be tying the knot on July 17 and we look forward to documenting their wonderful upcoming wedding day. Until then, we hope you both enjoy some of your engagement photos from Toronto harbour. Oh by the way, Diana was one of the first brides ever to pick up our camera and review the days shoot without us even having a chance to do any post-production (which I know many of you top notch photographers would cringe at the idea of a client reviewing sooc images). We thought this was a special moment and would blog about it. I know people have fear of their work being critiqued, but see….all is well and Diana and Ryan are still our friends and confident in our skills. Now they can have a look at these blog photos to witness the magic Mark works on our images, to add style, flare and creativity (something a professional, creative photographer should provide – so any future brides out there consider this a tip, when looking for a great photographer stay away from people who just shoot & burn).
Without further a due, enjoy images of our friends Diana + Ryan.
