Mark and I had a great time over the weekend shooting an awesome E-session in Caledon, with a great couple. By day, Dave’s a mechanic and Jen’s a nurse, but by evening it became evident to Mark and I that they really are great in front of the camera. Their enthusiasm, vibrance and love all came shining through in the shoot. They are so good together: laughing, smiling and truly happy. What great chemistry. Mark and I really look for couples that are deeply in love and dig each other. Peoples emotions are reflected in our work and this is something that can never be staged (nor should it), so finding people meant for each other is important. We love the energy all our couples exude when together. From the moment we meet Jen and Dave, we felt the connection they have to each other. In front of the camera, these two made it look so easy, and we had a blast taking so many images in so many wonderful locations that the area offered. First, we started in Belfountain, then off to the railroad tracks, a babbling brook, ruins of a barn, some role playing and then to the Bad Lands. Jen and Dave were not only followed by us, but also with a team of Videographers from Blupearl Media, and at one point some tourists. Truly, we were all a site to see, and Jen and Dave got pretty comfortable having an entourage. We look forward to shooting Jen and Dave (soon) on their Wedding day.

Very cool! I’ve always wanted to do a shoot in the badlands up there – I’m jealous!
