Hey everyone…
So here we are, 2008. Wow. Brand New Year, brand new business, brand new wedding, brand new ideas. Everything is happening so fast and I can’t wait what ’08 will bring for us. We are very excited about so many things that will happen this year. Kostelphoto.com has been on a steady incline and we have lots more prepared for this year. New products, New ideas, New creative visions, New branding, New equipment, New home Studio/Art Consult room, New albums….. it will be amazing!
We will be participating at the National Bridal Show, so please our lovely Brides do come and check us out, say hello and receive a surprise gift.
On a personal note, Anna and I will be tying the knot this year and we are very excited to finally jump in. We are currently looking for a wedding photographer! “how ironic”! Can’t wait for my own photos and a beautifully bound hard cover album.
There are so many things on the go and I think it is very important to keep on track, setting short & long term goals, balance work and personal life and continue to stay healthy and fit. I am not much for setting resolutions, but I am so excited about 2008 that I will even blog about it. So here are some of our personal resolutions:

Balance: As I mentioned a happy balance between work and pleasure. I seemed to have ocd or add and I can’t turn work off. Heck I am typing this at 1am. I just love what I do, I can’t help it. But in all fairness, I need to set limits to how many times I check my email, respond to VM’s, or play on my crackberry.
Fitness: Yes, yes… we all say it and do it for a week. But Anna and I have rec’d membership to a local gym from lovely Michelle, so watch out as we PUMP IT UP! And, many of you know that I’ve been doing Jiu Jitsu for the past 10yrs, and need to get back into swing of things as I have not attended for a little while. As a sensei I strongly recomend this type of martial arts for discipline, self defense, great cardio and awesome comradery. Check out our club Bushido Jiu-Jitsu. We have also abandoned skiing for the first time ever. This year we are planning a huge ski trip and we are taking it further than Montreal. Any one interested?
More Trips: Small day hikes, Portages, BnB’s, perhaps honeymoon in Borneo… more of being out, in the nature and with a camera in hand. I love fine art, landscape and macro photography.
Organization and Business projections: When I successfully fulfilled number one resolution of having ying yang, planning for a successful business during business hours. Having set a business plan, fulfilling short and long term goals and setting priorities will definitely help me become not only a photographer, but also a friend to our clients. Establishing long term friendships definitely helps our business in a long run and mutually satisfies our own lives. So here is to a good Health, Happiness and Prosperity! “Lets get it on”
